Busy few weeks

I think things are getting better in the long run. My blood sugar is gradually dropping, I am starting to feel better, I’ve been able to do quite a bit of editing on Tolly and Glorina.
We were able to save enough this year to once again get Worlds of Fun season passes with the dining plan (actually not that expensive, especially if you go and eat frequently). We purchased Silver passes (after seeing that the only appreciable difference between Gold and Silver passes was the entrance to the Haunt). The extra money for the Haunt wasn’t worth it to us, especially since they are open during the days then, and we don’t have to worry about all the smoke. But somehow, between the time we purchased them and opening day, we were upgraded to Gold. Tis a puzzlement. We didn’t pay for the upgrade.
We were glad to see that the bird show Squawk was back this year. We really enjoyed them last year, and saw them several times. Fairs (vegasbirds.com)
That got me interested enough in parrots to start following Apollo and Gizmo (both African grey parrots) on Facebook, which lead somehow to following a few dogs on FB which use the talking boards, which made me wonder if our dog Rocky would have been able to use those if we had started him young enough. Maybe, if he could sneak to do it.
We have finally finished paying off the loan our son gave us for the tires and battery last fall. That should help finances feel not quite so pinched.
