According to the weather reports, we should have the first major winter storm of the season, starting in about an hour. When we got up this morning, they were saying 2-3 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Which is enough for me to be glad we weren’t going anywhere tonight. But now they’re saying 5-6 inches, which is enough for me to probably stay home tomorrow, too.
The roads aren’t usually bad once we reach the bottom of our hill, but the hill itself is quite steep and curves. The first 10 years we lived here, we never even saw a snowplow. But now they seem to come through regularly after a storm. In previous years it was always fun to see a car get stopped trying to go up the hill in front of our house. Hopefully that won’t happen today.
We ended up with about 21" of snow. It's very pretty. But, yeah, hard to do anything outside the house.
