Smiles, and more smiles
A partial list.
In the process of editing, I asked ChatGPT to help me organize my list of smiles for Glorina. I had some numbers listed multiple times, and other ones that had the same label, but different numbers. CHatGPT was supposed to put these in order from least to most intimate, but I’m not sure I trust it’s ordering. And I had it put in a few extras just to even things out. Don’t mind the double numbering, I’m still going to do some editing on it. At least it helps to have a printout somewhere to reference. And in my snippetting, I’ve about reached the point where Glorina stops doing it, while being confused about how other people manage without labeling their smiles.

I appreciate the list of smiles. Glorina's whole life has been a series of impending tragedies (and I don't use those terms loosely). She has no idea how to behave as a normal person because she's been raised by an abuser and a bunch of his abusive thugs. She's been raised in a way to adapt, but the way she adapts is by going back to a standard portfolio of responses.
The thing is, once she meets Tolly, she's jolted out of that. For good reason, mind. Tolly is a good person who will help to his absolute limit...that he and Glorina fall in love is one of the triumphs of your novel, IMHO.
I describe the smile and body actions. For instance, Marcus smiled broadly, showing his playful humor as he said, "Blah blah blah."
Or Rana blushed, smiling as she looked down. Or Ria grinned playfully as she teased Rhys.
