Thank you for reading Jasini’s Thoughts and Ideas
Well, we had another round of storms last night/this morning, with a big one rolling through right during morning rush hour, as we were driving through it. The rain was coming down hard enough that we were only doing about 45 on the highway (and even those annoying speeders who like to weave in and out of traffic were only doing about 60). Visibility was way down, and I was carefully keeping track of the red taillights in front of me to steer.
I don’t mind driving through the rain in the daylight. Even the heavy rain that limits visibility. I do hate driving through it at night, since with the reflection from the water and the lights, it makes it impossible for me to see the lines in the road. And that isn’t good when you’re driving at highway speeds. Still better than snow, and far better than ice.
I am considering serializing my Princess Janomi story, instead of waiting until I have the energy and time to go through my notebooks and find the rest (far from complete, I know), and type them up, then finish writing the rest, to continue to post it. I know basically what happens.
But one problem is that I don’t think linearly. I rather wish I did. I tend to get scenes, one here, one there, and then have to mesh them all together. Sometimes better than others.
I also need a way to keep track of timelines and character names and such. I know, for instance, that I’ve name Jasin and Belinda’s daughters multiple times, and the names don’t seem to stick.
