This and that.

Slice of life.

I meant to post yesterday, but it turns out yesterday was one of those tired days, where I come back from my normal morning excursion, and just spend the rest of the day collapsed in bed. Not entirely, I did get up and do a few things, as well as having meals, but I didn’t accomplish anything I had planned on doing.

Considering how tired I was, I am quite glad I got a text saying I didn’t have jury duty yesterday. I had tried calling the number that you’re supposed to after 5 on Friday, but it was just something telling you how to log into the juror portal, which I had done already to do the questionnaire. I didn’t get the text until Sunday, and I spent most of my weekend steeling myself up to driving up to the courthouse on Monday.

Today is somewhat better, but it seems like it’s a day my husband (Sir Rhodri) is resting on. Which limits somewhat the things I can do today. Though I should be able to almost catch up on the dishes. Though I’ll never be able to get ahead on those. It’s amazing how fast the dishes pile up.

Our daughter came home over the weekend, decorated the tree, and arranged our little village. She even figured out how to get a “waterfall” from one level of the village to another.

Not much really happening this week. I hope to have more to say next week. Which is of course Christmas.
